To qualify for STEP funds applicants must meet U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) criterion.

Applicants must complete the U.S. SBA's Export Questionnaire and obtain a score between 91 -100. Please take the examine and include your score under the Certification Section of the application below.

Additionally, applicants must determine whether their business is defined as "small" by the U.S. SBA. Please review the business size criteria on the US SBA’s Size Standard guidelines website.
