The “Made in Alaska” (MIA) program’s mission is to identify and promote products made, manufactured, or handcrafted in the state. Alaska's businesses manufacture high quality products for markets in Alaska domestically and internationally. Products will range from small gift items to large industrial modules.
Product(s) which meet the programs 51 percent or more produced in Alaska criteria are eligible to use the MIA logo. Permits authorizing the use of the MIA logo serve both producers and consumers by certifying product authenticity. When purchasing products in Alaska, look for the mother bear and her cub logo signifying the product was manufactured in Alaska.
For the most current list of new permit holders in the MIA Program, (click here) to download a PDF with their contact information. To see all of the permit holders listed in MIA, go to "Permit/Product Listing" under the "Made in Alska Links" to the left and choose the category, city, key word, permit number or business to contact.
