Regulation of Mechanical Administrators

The Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing staffs the mechanical administrator program. The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development adopts regulations to carry out laws governing mechanical administrators in Alaska. It makes final licensing decisions and takes disciplinary actions against people who violate licensing laws.

Plumbers are regulated by the Department of Labor, Labor Standards and Safety, Mechanical Inspection Section.

Notice of Proposed Regulations

The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development proposes regulation changes for Mechanical Administrators including updating mechanical administrator experience requirements for licensure, continuing education workshop approvals, and change of employer or company affiliation.
