AK CARES Fishery Relief If you are looking for Section 12005 CARES Act relief for fisheries, please visit: http://www.psmfc.org/cares-act-the-coronavirus-aid-relief-and-economic-security-act More information on that program is available from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. AK CARES Grant Program: Closed All available funds under DCCED's AK CARES grant program have been disbursed. AK CARES applications were processed in the order they were received. All businesses that applied for this grant on or after September 2nd were made aware, at that time, that the program had been oversubscribed and that there was a high likelihood that they would not receive funding. We have funded as many applications as we were able within the program funding. If new funds do get allocated in the future to states for small business relief, we will consider re-opening the AK CARES Grant program but unfortunately, we are not anticipating additional funding. If you are looking for other funding programs that may be available to you, please visit COVID-19 Recovery Resource Portal for Business website, which provides updates and links to other State and Federal level resources available to businesses. A program compliance audit of the AK CARES program is currently underway by Yukon Accounting and Consulting, Inc., a contractor for the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA). To confirm validity of correspondence, please contact AIDEA at (907) 771-3019 or inforequest@akcaresonline.org. DCCED appreciates the full cooperation of grantees in the auditing process.
