Individual Fishing Quotas (IFQs)

The Division of Investments offers for sale individual fishing quotas (IFQs) listed below. We reserve the right to accept or refuse any and all offers. All decisions are final. This sale is governed by 3 AAC 77.010-.900.

OFFERS: Written offers signed by the party making the offer may be submitted at any time and must contain the following information: buyers name, mailing address, telephone number, and the amount of the offer. Offers may be handwritten or an Individual Fishing Quota Offer form has been provided for convenience. We reserve the right to request additional information to complete or supplement any offer.

OFFERS SUBMITTED TO: Mailed to: Division of Investments, PO Box 110802, Juneau, AK 99811-0802, Attention: Repossessed Property Officer. Delivered to: Division of Investments, 333 Willoughby, SOB 9th Floor, Juneau, AK 99801 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., local time. All offers will be reviewed.

STANDARD TERMS OF SALE: Minimum 20% down payment within 15 days of acceptance of the offer, with the balance due within 30 days on cash sales. Financing may be available for Alaska residents. If financing is requested, a completed loan application package with all necessary fees should be included with the offer, but must be received by us no later than 15 days after acceptance of the offer.

If an offer is not accepted, new offers may be submitted. Offers are not binding unless accepted by us in writing and are subject to approval by Restricted Access Management (RAM). IFQs can only be purchased by an individual who meets the eligibility requirements of 50 C.F.R. §679.41. A prospective buyer with questions about the eligibility requirements should contact the Restricted Access Management Program at (800) 304-4846 #2 or (907) 586-7202 #2.
