Recent News

  • AMCO is closed for in-person service on Wednesdays. This will permit our staff to focus on backlogs. AMCO will also be closed for in-person service while the ABC Board and Marijuana Control Board meetings are occurring in Fairbanks on September 10 - 12, 2024. This is because many of our staff will be in Fairbanks for those meetings and the remainder in Anchorage will be taxed with Board meeting concerns and other significant deadlines. During these brief closures, we are actively addressing and resolving all immediate needs, such as completion of license delegations, scheduling inspections, and issuing marijuana handler permits and alcoholic beverage event permits. You may still email us and drop off documents in our Dropbox outside Suite 1600. We hope to return to regular in-person service as soon as possible and will update you accordingly.

We are busy examining applications and will get as many to the ABC Board as possible at its upcoming meetings on April 16, 2024 and June 25, 2024. Our staff will contact you via AK-ACCIS or email should we have any questions. Thank you again for your patience.
