Board of Chiropractic Examiners Continuing Education Courses Continuing Education - Chiropractors The Alaska Board of Chiropractic Examiners recognizes continuing education courses/programs that are certified by the Providers of Approved Continuing Education (PACE) through the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. In addition to PACE approved courses the following courses have received approval from the Alaska Board of Chiropractic Examiners: Search Approved Continuing Education Courses Continuing Education Activity Log Continuing Education and Renewal FAQs If you would like the Board to approve a course that is not currently on the approved lists above, please submit the following application not less than 90 days before the date of the proposed program presentation date: Continuing Education Course Approval Application for Chiropractors, #08-4640, Revised 10/01/2016 Use this form only if you are licensed in Alaska. Continuing Education Option - MyiCourse Per 12 AAC 16.29(c), licensees may choose to take the jurisprudence review available at myicourse.com for 2 CE credits. Licensees must submit a form of proof if audited for continuing education indicating completion of the review, such as a screen print, page print, or transcripts available at MyiCourse. To print your transcript, click on the “Send Transcripts” tab, enter your e-mail, retrieve from your personal e-mail inbox and print. If you receive a letter from the board notifying you that you have been audited, submit along with all other continuing education documentation required. 12 AAC 16.29. HOURS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIRED. (c) Two of the hours required under (a) of this section will be credited to each applicant for renewal for completing the jurisprudence review prepared by the board, covering the provisions of AS 08.20 and this chapter. An applicant for renewal must verify, in an affidavit, that the applicant has complied with this subsection before the applicant's license renewal will be processed. Continuing Education - Providers If your courses/programs are approved by PACE there is no need for you to apply for approval from the Alaska Board of Chiropractic Examiners. However, if you have chosen not to receive certification through PACE you will need to submit a Continuing Education Course Approval Application for Providers for each course/program that you offer not less than 90 days before the date of the proposed program presentation date.
